NBMOA is continuing to award scholarships to students who are selected based on:

Exemplary performance as a McDonald’s employee
- Good grades
- The student has aspirations to get a higher degree, profession or trade
Our Scholarship Award program demonstrates the
NBMOA on-going commitment to education.

NBMOA Crew Scholarship 2010
Eligibility
-
All McDonald’s restaurant employees of all ages who have worked for a minimum of 1 (one) year and no less that 15 (fifteen) hours per week
- Employee must be nominated by the Owner/Operator
- Nominees must be employed by McDonalds at the time the funds are issued
- Nominees must be currently taking classes at a college/university or enrolled in a business or trade. Proof of enrollment is required.
- Family members of Owner/Operators are NOT eligible.
Criteria
-
An individual who demonstrates "i'm lovin' it" or "service with a smile"
- Exemplary leadership and initiative recognized by peers and management
- Maximizing the business by consistently following proper business practices and promotions
- Known for providing service in the school and community
Program Implementation

NBMOA MEMBER Owner/Operator submits ONE name of a crew member for the award
- Based on the number of applications received a minimum of eight (8) recipients from each NBMOA division will be selected to receive the reward
- Winners will need to provide the following data:
- Social Security number
- Date of Birth
- Name of the school student is attending
- Proof of enrollment
- Address of school (see attached NBMOA Application)
A $1000.00 check will be paid DIRECTLY to the accredited institution. NO DIRECT PAYMENTS OR REIMBURSEMENTS WILL BE MADE TO THE AWARD RECIPIENT.
